From a fortress to the so-called 'an Adriatic playground for the rich and famous', Sv. Stefan (St. Stephen) is now a 5 star hotel run by the Aman group, with room rate starting from 850 euro a night

To cross this beach you have to either stay here for the night or dine in one of their restaurants

There are beaches on both sides of the isthmus, the left side is for the public whereas the left side is reserved for the hotel guests only

Although they say the country is frequently visited by tourists from Russia, I did not see many Russians around... (Where are the Russian beauties)?

The public beach runs all the way towards the other hotels in the area

IF you continue further towards the end of the public beach, you could get really close to the island
