Another model, but this time it shows the Diocletian Palace
| Entrance to the old city or the palace is through one of the 4 gates... The Brass Gate is the most popular entrance from the seafront
| If you enter through the Brass Gate, you have to descend to the basement first before you climb back up. Now this part of the basement has become a shopping mall for arts and souvenirs
| It felt like walking through an underground market
They sell all sorts of artefacts here, ranging from souvenirs to these arts and crafts
| Once you are through the underground mall and climb up, you will find yourself in an interior courtyard of the Roman complex - the Peristyle
| Taking a 180 degree turn you could see the more impressive side of the Peristyle. Right at the furthest end is the exit where we clibmed up from, as well as a path to the living quarters

This is like a common place where people would just sit down around, grab a drink and enjoy watching people moving around
| Sometimes you would see some gladiators at work here
| At other times you could see something special. We bumped into a wedding by chance. Btw the maid of honor looked nicer~
| On the way to the Iron Gate, We bumped into the couple again after they finished the ceremony and people were cheering as they 'marched' along the streets of Split
