A Prayer and the Cat

We all experience quiet times in our  lives during which we search our souls and reflect on different life situations.  Many find their quiet times  while driving alone or taking a shower. Some search their souls while awake alone in bed or walking in solitude by the seashore. On this Easter Sunday afternoon while I was alone preparing for my lunch, the cat, the kitchen knives¡K¡K¡K¡K¡Kcame to my mind. While I was reflecting on these personal situations in quietness, there was a voice. Where was the voice came from? I did not know!  But it led me to a prayer:-

God, please give us

Peace if we can accept and tolerate;

Courage  to speak out if we cannot;

Wisdom to know the difference;

Love to make the difference!

God, thanks to You for Your grace and mercy!
