After an extravaganza Chinese banquet for Spring Festival given by the local Chinese merchants yesterday, I really had no room for another eatout the next day. But today is a very special day, birthday, a day before a long trip, two days  before Valentine, ¡K¡K.Somebody picked Alba. This is a classy Restaurant with a closey setting and excellent steak. °s³{ª¾¤v¤dªM¤Ö who could resist the  smooth, red wine!? After a few glasses, my head was getting oozy.  I asked the waiter:

¡§Who was the famous prisoner of Alba?¡¨

¡§sorry, I don¡¦t know.¡¨

¡§Napoleon, don¡¦t you know?!¡¨

Everybody was looking at me in dismay. I thought I was smart. On the way out, I took a pic on front of the restaurant with my right hand over my chest, the famous gesture of Napoleon.

I looked it up today.  ¡§Following the Treaty of Fontainebleau, French emperor Napoleon I was exiled to Elba¡K..Napoleon's stay on Elba is the basis for the famous English language palindrome: "Able was I ere I saw Elba." It is for the connection with Napoleon that Elba is best known internationally.¡¨

So, it should be Elba, not Alba!
