Sunday 23rd November 2008 07:04:31 PM From: Cathy Thank you for the info, doctor.
Sunday 23rd November 2008 12:14:40 AM From: steve Cat, FYI. you are hypothyroid because during your thyroid surgery too much thyroid tissues were removed
removed . Thus a lifelong problem was crested, and you have to take thyroid hormone
replacement, such as synthroid, forever, otherwise you will feel easily tired, weak etc.
The blood thyroid hormone level has to be monitored regularly and the dosage of thyroid hormone
replacement has to be adjusted periodically. High
cholesterol in yr situation can be resulted from hypothyroid. Radioactive iodine is for
hyperthyroid, and is contraindicated for women in reproductive age.You are welcomed to contact
me .
