 Remember when a young Drew Barrymore was the darling Gertie from E.T.? A rough transition through her teen years brought forth an autobiography (Little Girl Lost, written at age 14) and some Lolita-esque movie choices. As she grew up in front the camera, we saw Barrymore experiment with her looks, going from platinum blonde to brunette and back again. Today, the 31-year-old has made it from child actor to Hollywood power broker and has turned a corner when it comes to accepting her looks. "You learn to love your own body," she says. "I've been running and doing yoga, and I love the way it makes my mind and body feel." Barrymore has played the bubbly girlfriend in hits like The Wedding Singer but is departing from that in her next role, as a troubled lounge singer in Lucky You. "I'm growing up, so I want to grow in my work," she says. "I'm ready to tap into the darkness."
